One of Tiffany's favorite motifs was the peacock. Massed peacock
feathers create the pattern flowing from aperture to lower edge.
Each design repeat has two distinctive peacock "eyes",
one above and slight to the side of the other.
The swirl of feathers is executed in shades of purple, blue
and mauve. The emerald green-centered eyes are thinly encircled
by a border band of translucent gold colored glass.
This is a composite reproduction of Tiffany lamp shades as
shown in "The Lamps of Tiffany" by Dr. Egon Neustadt.
