This lamp is a composite reproduction of a Tiffany lamps as
pictured in Dr. Neustadt's book "The Lamps of Tiffany".
This pattern, repeated three times, consists of a swarm of butterflies
swirling through the air. The butterflies widespread wings were
mottle orange in the original Tiffany shade.
Antique Tiffany style lamps were constructed of dense opalescent
stained glass that masks the light source and shows color by
reflected light when the light is turned off.
