Antique Tiffany style lamps were constructed of dense opalsecent
stained glass that masks the light source and shows color by
reflected light when the light is turned off.
This shade is a miniature version of Tiffanys peacock lamp
as shown in Dr., Egon Neustadt's book "The Lamps of Tiffany".
