A composite reproduction of an original Tiffany design as shown in "The Lamps of Tiffany" by Dr. Egon Neustadt. The roman design may have a dual personality, use dichroic glass and this shade will be sugdued in daylight and wil dominate the scene after dark. The glass can coordinate all the colors in a room or emphasize and reinforce a single color. Antique Tiffany style lamps were construted of dense opalescent stained glass that masks the light source and shows color by reflected light when the light is turned off.
