One of Tiffany's favorite motifs was the peacock. Massed peacock feathers create the pattern flowing from aperture to lower edge. This shade has no borders. Each design repeat has two distinctive peacock "eyes", one above and slightly to the side of the other. The swirl of feathers is executed in shades of purple, blue, mauve similiar to the colors used by Tiffany. The emerald green-centered eyes within this setting are thinly encircled by a border band of translucent gold colored glass. Every effort has been taken to reproduce this shade as pictured
in "The Lamps of Tiffany" by Dr. Egon Neustadt. For
all lamps marked with a "T" the color key glass description
contains the glass manufacturer glass number similar to glass
used in the original Tiffany shades.
