Among the more popular Tiffany style lamps is the world-renowned dragonfly design. As per "The Lamps of Tiffany" by Dr. Neustadt, "... this shade provides the craftsman with unusual opportunities to show his skill and imagination. The insect itself can be endowed with varicolored bodies, eyes and wings. Then, since the shade was described by the Tiffany studios as "Dragonfly and Water Design," he is free to create any sort of stream or pond he prefers along with every kind of atmosphere in which the insect flies. The mood may range from sunny peace to sad foreboding." This lamp is futher enhanced by use of jewels for the dragonfly
eyes and jewels in the background to add to the sparkle of water.
Jewel sets and glass nuggets sets are sold separately by H. L.
Worden Co.
Use the C20 SectionalForm for the end portions of the lamp. Use the C234 Flat Panel Form for the center sections - one to make a 30" lamp,; two to make a 40" lamp. SectionalForm Update: The completed glass sections are fitted perfectly together by the use of solder loops as detailed In Stained Glass Crafting.
