Sometimes called flags, the iris, a member of the orchid family,
blooms with stately elegance early in the spring. The spectacular
show of color is truly a delight. Flowers are of various colors;
however, the prevailing tint is blue-violet. This design features
the German or bearded variety of iris. This design features two
backgrounds: the inner background surrounding the iris itself
and the outer gridwork to further highlight the iris.
This is an original design by Howard Worden.
